Every once in a while we love ourselves some Red Carpet glamour, but do you know what is better than a red carpet? An Orange Carpet. The Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards 2017 encouraged the stars of pop culture to invoke their inner kids and bring their ‘cutest’ self to the show and so we had a chance to encounter them in their unadulterated version.
Demi Lovato
It broke our hearts when we witnessed the singer getting hit by an epic amount of slime at the stage of the Kids Choice Awards. Though Demi was a good sport, we sobbed on behalf of her seeing this one of a kind jumpsuit by Halston getting soiled. The vibrant ensemble was a smart choice for the event and we are not getting over the slit trousers any time soon.
Zendaya
Queen Z can never get it wrong, but we were quite confused with her look of the night. She wore a silk slip dress from her own line Daya. As much we are occupied with the burnt orange hue of the dress, we can’t refuse that the piece does look a little too comfy- in fact, comfy enough to easily pass for a night dress. The multi-talented teen kept her make-up clean as usual and kudos to her hair stylist for that sleek look in the front and a contrast wild ponytail at the end.
Miranda Cosgrove
I just love how all our celebs kept it simple and vivacious to resonate with the spirit of the Kid’s Choice Awards. Of course, we are here for fun, we are not here to show off our high end designer gown – what do the kids know of them anyway? The next one on our list, Miranda showed up in a very youthful floral frock in the color pink and we are adoring this Marc Jacob number.
Zoe Saldana
Another floral fiesta that won our hearts was the one Zoe wore to the event. The star of The Guardian of the Galaxies looked every bit of a killer that she is in her adorably flirty dress. The bright colors of green and red on white make up for the classic pattern of any floral prints always.
Gwen Stefani
‘Hollaback Girl’ Gwen made an appearance at the orange carpet with both of her adorable sons. Dressed in a green Jeremy Scott creation she seemed excited to be at the event. We are pleasantly surprised to see how she dyed the tip of her pony tail green to go with her attire. The mother of two slipped in a pair of fishnets before throwing in those thigh high boots – we are truly impressed.
Maria Carey
Pop royalty, Mariah Carey showed up with her twins and ex-husband Nick Cannon. The family dressed up in matching ensembles, while Mariah matched her outfit with daughter Monroe’s Adidas mini-dress, her son Moroccan was a replica of the former America’s Got Talent judge. Precious, we say!
Blac Chyna
The new mom of Dream Kardashian doesn’t seem too upset post her breakup with ex fiancé Rob. She looked healthy and happy at the KCA and for a change kept it simple and demure – as demure as we can expect from the reality star. The crisp white shirt was paired with some ripped denim and the color was brought in by her yellow boots. Her black perms give an altered look and we praise her for keeping the make-up all natural.

Noah Cyrus
Hands down, Miley Cyrus’s little sister was the stunner of the show – can we all just agree? Quite a contrast to sister’s blond locks, the 17 year old rocked some black locks at the Awards. Her simplistic attire comprised a white tee paired with a velvet skirt. But she made a statement of ‘Girl Power’ graffiti and the feminine dimension was projected by the peach-pink skirt. To round up the look she slipped into some loud pink heels – we love you, baby girl.
Little Mix
The ladies of this popular band doesn’t leave us with many words. They all brought in their distinct style to the orange carpet and yet managed to blend in together as a group. That’s the beauty of bonding, we guess!!!
The fun-filled show had many names from the entertainment business attending it, but I can’t help but wonder where on earth Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez is. Do you realize we haven’t seen the duo in almost all the awards this year? Are you missing them too?
