1. Alcohol

Alcohol is one of the major contributors to make you look older than you actually are. For those who drink alcohol on regular basis look comparatively wearied than people who are teetotaler. Alcohol consumption is usually during holidays and parties. Celebrity nutritionist JJ Virgin suggests to either go for dry wine or tequila instead of creamy drinks such as eggnog that are more harmful for the skin.

In order to beat the previous night’s alcohol consumptions, you should purify your system with  lots of water and herbal and green teas. Even Kombucha, a pro-biotic drink is also recommended. Now stop sprinkling salt on your salad, instead go for pepper or any other spices to satisfy your taste buds.

The AGEs are sometimes responsible for augmenting the degenerative diseases, thereby speeding up the aging process. Next time when you go for tea/coffee, do remember the side effects of sugar. Well for rejuvenation, your best bet is green tea or black coffee.



4. Carbs

Did you know carbs and wheat products turn into sugar if they are not utilized? The high blood sugar concentration in the body then speeds up the aging process, by resulting in wrinkled skin and weight loss that’s obvious. So always keep your consumption of carbs to limit. Try to add fresher green veggies to munch on.



5. Caffeine

Caffeine, usually seen in soft drinks, coffee and sodas, dehydrates the body. This further leads to formation of wrinkles, aging spots, fine lines and dullness. Apart from this, the caffeine intake also disturbs the sleeping routine. Therefore make sure you always metabolize caffeine. It increases the stress hormone cortisol, so if you’re slow in metabolizing, keep it for morning session.
