Travelling in style, or call it travel vogue, is a thing in Bollywood now, and our fashionistas sure know how to keep the show running as they take off and land. With so much happening this month, the airport was much star-studded.

Two main weddings, one royal and one fashionable, the Cannes Film Festival, promotions, and of course, vacations to survive the hottest month of the year, Bollywood celebrities made frequent visits to the airport.

Jet-setting in style, there were a few airport looks that left us swooning. From athleisure to ethnics, to suit up, these are our toppers this month.

Deepika Padukone:

Deepika’s touchdown at Cannes was the most fashionable this year. Arriving at the Cannes Mandelieu Airport, the long-legged lass turned heads and had the media hooting for her. For her long flight, stylist Shaleena Nathani had Deepika don a gingham meets denim oversized button-down shirt from Maison Margiela. Paired with a pair of black stockings, and clinched at the waist with a knotted black belt, an excited Deepika made her way out of the airport carrying her essentials in a black tote. Black peep toe boots rounded up Deepika’s Cannes travel look.

Malaika Arora Khan:

Malaika gave us vacay vibes with her L.A vacation this summers. Carrying on her bohemian summer feels, the hot bod channeled a perfect airport look for summers, wearing a pretty all-white maxi that boasted of a lacy net neck from Swoon Designs. Keeping her travel style low-key and natural, Malaika let her red hair loose and donned a pair of black shades to beat the strong sun rays.

Sonam Kapoor:

Normalcy is far-fetched for this fashionista. Sassy and smart, Sonam Kapoor dressed up for her flight in blue and white floral separates from Huda-Al-Nuaimi. Balancing her cleavage show with a bit of belly peek-a-boo, Sonam’s airport look grabbed many eyeballs. A pair of studs from Sunita Shekhawat, Bottega Venetta tote, and that epic tan trunk from Trunks Company, were just the perfect travel partners to this fashion rule-breaker.

Kareena Kapoor Khan:

Leaving behind her cool-girl Veere Di Wedding look, Kareena got back to royalty donning a look that justifies her Nawabi status. Wearing a summer special House Of Kotwara kurta and dupatta, Bebo took off in style. Giving her usual athleisure a miss, we quite liked her ethnic airport style file.

Khushi Kapoor:

Khushi Kapoor is known to have a distinct personal style as far as fashion is concerned. Making appearances on and off our radar this time Khushi absorbed our attention while at the airport. Wearing an easy breezy printed strappy maxi, in a pretty tone of orange from Urban Outfitters, along with a metallic Balenciaga handbag, Khushi Kapoor made boarding flights look good.

The Queen of Bollywood kick started her April travels in a refreshing spring summer look, which took us back to the late 80’s. The retro lover blended in style and comfort wearing a sea blue bow tie top from Dior, with a pair of pristine white high waist flared pants from H&M. A classic tan Hermes birkin, a pair of round black shades and not to miss, the fur stole, took her look notches higher.

Daughter of Bollywood veteran Chunkey Pandey, Ananya is the latest addition to Bollywood’s star kids bandwagon. The woman is all set to make a dream entry this year with KJO’s SOTY 2. While her fresh face has always been a favorite among shutterbugs, this time the spotlight was on her personal travel style. Dresses in ripped white denims, vest and a denim layering, Ananya gave us all the teenage feels. Her Gucci sneakers and tan sling rounded up her simplistic gorgeousness.

Fashion and Sonam have become almost synonymous. Redefining Indian fashion with her unique playups, Sonam continues to top our charts. For her most recent in-flight look, the lady turned to the mighty black. Wearing a pair of tracks with a tube and trench layering, Sonam grabbed much eyeballs for her Alexander Wang outfit. Sealing the deal with her white Nike sneakers, Sonam made an impressive airport sighting.

Kiara Lal Advani

Kiara looked much set wearing a more lounging and relaxed look at the airport, dressed in an outfit from Varq. The palazzo found a fitting combination in the pleated sea blue top.
