Bollywood Celebs With Ethnic Avatars

We often hear ourselves talking about being modern with our thoughts, styles, and lifestyle but a touch of tradition undoubtedly sets a higher tone to our style. An ethnic style brings out the essence of our culture and feminity.

Bollywood Celebs With Ethnic Avatars

A mini dress, a maxi, or even a denim style- they are trendy and add an upbeat vibe to your appearance, but only a traditional avatar lights us up instantly. Giving us major ethnic style inspiration are our Bollywood celebs and we observed that while some kept it ethnic to the roots, some chose to add a western streak to it.

Celebrities With Ethnic Styles:

Interested? Wait no more! Scroll down for details-

Priyanka Chopra:

Our desi girl is back in town and oh my! What a pretty sight. Embracing the summer was Priyanka Chopra in an Anita Dongre pleasant colored kurta, white palazzos, and dupatta. The big hoop earrings by Misho Designs sided well with her style. Like always, she chose the deep plum shade for her lips and with a small black bindi, soft straight hair, she closed her style.

Shraddha Kapoor:

Most of us tend to pick an entire ethnic style from one label, but Shraddha Kapoor gave us a different perception for choosing a traditional avatar. For the Veet Nikhar launch, the diva looked summery and bright like a sunflower in a yellow Masaba Gupta layered lehenga and paired it with a heavily embroidered Arpita Mehta blouse.

Adding a contrast-colored dupatta by Nikasha, she looked charismatic. Oversized earrings by Shri Ram Hari Ram Jewellers complemented her vibrant style. With the outfit sending out a siren, she chose to keep her hair and makeup simple and non-fussy.

Tamannaah Bhatia:

Like a pretty coral herself, Tamannaah dressed up sweetly in Anushree label for a chat show. The contrast-colored long cape added an indo-western vibe to her perfect desi pick. She played a boho-chic card with her choice of metallic toned Sangeeta Boochra earrings. Mid-parted ponytail, a small bindi and kohl defined eyes gave her style the winning strike.

Kareena Kapoor:

Prints over prints in traditional styles are not uncommon but still poses a competitive challenge. Nailing this feature was Kareena Kapoor, our favorite Bebo, at a store launch in Delhi. In a royal blue Masaba Gupta outfit, she chimed in a drool-worthy style. While the skirt held the traditional feature in place, the asymmetric top added an indo-western edge to her fashion.

Wearing rusty-finished gold jewelry from Malabar Gold and Diamonds label, she drew out a hypnotic feature.

Saiyami Kher:

Gleaming like a ray of sunshine was Saiyami Kher in the perfect summer number. Wearing a yellow richly embroidered Anita Dongre kurta with a flowing blush pink skirt, Saiyami looked refreshing and stunning. The big jhumkas from Anita Dongre were her sole companion. Pinning her curls into a tight pony and with well-defined eyes, pink glossy lips, she looked luminous.

Dia Mirza:

Absolutely celestial and magnificent was Dia Mirza showcasing Faabiiana’s vintage bride collection. We often prefer to pick bright, vibrant shades for our wedding diaries, isn’t it? But the nearly white, heavily embroidered outfit that Dia pulled off gracefully inspired us to rethink about our perception of wedding styles.

Tanzila Rab earrings and cuffs by Minerali perfected her style. Side-parted straight hair, brown lips, and clear skin signed off her style.
