Our Bollywood actresses love monochromes, and knowingly or unknowingly, these women keep going back to their blacks and whites. With too many sightings of celebrities in monochrome most recently, we are only assuming that the B/W fervor is back.
From events to airports to cozy hangouts, B-town actresses are taking the monochrome palette almost everywhere. Chic and swank, we are loving black and whites as it takes over Tinseltown.
Monochrome In B-Town:
Here’s a quick round-up of the monochrome sightings we love.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan:
Bollywood’s leading lady, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was spotted by paparazzi as she left for an evening with her mother, daughter, and some friends. For her laid-back evening, the lady opted to go monochrome in an Andrew Gn blouse paired with a black pencil skirt with fringed trimmings. All likes for that blouse.
At the launch of One Plus, actress Chitrangada Singh delighted us with her black and white ensemble. Picked out by stylist Esha Amiin, the Kanika Jaisingh dress on Chitrangada moved us. While the cleavage caused temperatures to soar, the ball gown element added grace to the outfit. Some flamboyance there, courtesy her cascading blow-dried tresses. Azotiique jewellery pieces added the needed sparkle, sealing the look to perfection.
Karishma Kapoor loves her blacks and whites. Caught by the shutterbugs while making her way out of the airport, Karishma delighted us with her chic athleisure look. Keeping it monochrome, Karishma gave us a ten on ten airport look wearing a black track pant with a basic white tee. She threw on a black sleeves jacket to add some drama to her comfy basics. A pair of white sneakers, a black tote, and a pair of round black shades added all the oomph to Lolo’s travel diaries.
Joining her Veeres at a promotional event most recently, producer and stylist Rhea Kapoor made quite a fashion statement. Dressed up in monochrome in a smashing white blouse paired with high waist flared black trousers that boasted of outstich along the pockets, she picked both from the London based label, Rejinapyo. Wearing her tresses naturally loose, Rhea added to the charm of her girls from the upcoming release, Veere Di Wedding.
With Parmanu slated for a Friday release, Diana Penty is doing rounds across cities promoting her upcoming feature. Pendulating between casual chic and smart formals, Diana is giving us all the reasons to upgrade our summer wardrobes with statement blazers and trousers. For the HT house yesterday, Diana dressed up in monochrome pairing her black sling top with a pristine white blazer and ripped denim. Diana has well reminded us the worth of this classic combination.
We have got our hint to go monochrome in the days ahead. Have you?
