Remember the times when short skirts and above the knee dresses were the trend? Yes! And looks like now, the trend, to a significant level, has been replaced by the long gown styles. Like always, setting this trend in high swing were the Bollywood celebrities for our perusal.
Giving a fairy tale like vibes, the celebrities in long flowing gowns have caught many eyeballs. It is time to revisit our closet choices to add this Bollywood inspired staple piece to our collection.
Gracing a real estate related event, Sushmita Sen sent stylish sparks with her fashion choices. Wearing a black and white Notte by Marchesa two-tiered gown, she looked good. The two-tier feature gave it a peplum top style coupled with a long skirt look and that makes it two styles with one outfit. The neckline surely sufficed for a good accessory, what do you think? With mid-parted wavy hairdo, glossy lips and brown toned makeup, she closed her style.
Sonali Bendre was recently spotted at the preview of a houseware collection, doing a monochrome style. Rich and elegant was her choice of Burgundy separates from Esha Amiin. The wrapped up, asymmetric top style over a flowing skirt made for a unique piece in the fashion world. Although a contrasting shade of separates would make it trendy, the diva did true justice to monochrome style. Wearing burgundy chunky sandals, gold drop earrings and carrying a mini handbag, she played every chord of fashion. Tight curls swept to one side, neutral makeup and deep lip color complimented her style.
On losing oodles of weight, Bhumi Pednekar explored bold and stunning styles. She bagged the achiever’s award at the Beti FLO GR8 Awards 2018 to which she dressed to nines. Wearing a blue off-shoulder, plunging neckline Gauri & Nainika dress, and complementing the style with Jimmy Choo pumps, she looked fab! Mid-parted soft hair, nude lips, and glossy makeup finished out her look. A layered necklace or a pair of chunky earrings would have completed the style to the brim.
Black never fails to create magic, be it outfits or accessories. It slims down one’s mien and adds a classy touch. Giving us a true black style inspiration was Huma Qureshi at the Beti FLO GR8 Awards 2018 in a high necked Nikhil Thampi flowing gown. The gold-toned sleeves was a catchy add-on to the classy black style. With her hair tied into a low bun, adorning long gold earrings, she was gorgeous.
Inspired? We surely are inclined to add the long gowns to our fashion agenda!
