2. DIY Sweet Almond Oil Lipstick:

Description:

A sweet almond oil lipstick is quite simple to create and is more moisturizing than the one available at drugstores.

Ingredients:

  • Sweet Almond Oil
  • Beeswax
  • Cocoa or Shea Butter
  • Essential Oils
  • Beet Powder, Cocoa Powder, Cinnamon Powder, Maca Powder, Spirulina Powder, and Turmeric (optional colorants)

Directions:

  • Set a sauce pan with one inch water for creating double boiler.
  • Melt one tsp beeswax, two tsp sweet almond oil, and one tsp shea butter over medium heat.
  • Add 1/4th tsp of the optional colorants.
  • Remove from heat and mix one or two drops of desired essential oil. You may select from lavender, peppermint, cinnamon, and lemongrass.
  • Transfer into lipstick containers.
