The 55th edition of the Femina Miss India beauty pageant took place last night at Dome, NSCI SVP Stadium, Mumbai and we believe you all must have been awake all night just like us, supporting our favorites, enjoying the fashion, style, and essence of the contest. For the title of Femina Miss India 2018, the winners of all 29 states competed well and it surely was an event of vigor and valor.
Hosted by Karan Johar and Ayushmann Khurana, the event was filled with fun, humor, and fashion. The grand jury consisted of Manushi Chhillar, K.L.Rahul, Irfan Pathan, Bobby Deol, Kunal Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Gaurav Gupta, and Faye D’Souza.
And this year’s FBB Femina Miss India 2018 is a 19-year-old student, Anukreethy Vas, from Tamil Nadu, who is pursuing BA in French from Loyola college. Meenakshi Chaudhary from Haryana and Shreya Rao from Andhra Pradesh were crowned the first and second runner-ups.
To award their successors, Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar, Miss India United 2017 Sana Dua, and Miss India Intercontinental 2017 Priyanka Kumari graced the event.

To the winner, Anukreethy Vas, this is just the beginning of a long journey of beauty, glamor, and glory. She will be representing India at the Miss World 2018. The runner-ups, Meenakshi Chaudhary and Shreya Rao, will be representing India at Miss Grand International 2018.

The event surely took a glamor and energetic spin with the breathtaking performances by Kareena Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, and Jacqueline Fernandez.
Kareena Kapoor:
It was yellow for Kareena Kapoor at the FBB Femina Miss India 2018 contest. In a mango yellow wrapped patterned top, flowing Prabal Gurung gown, Kareena graced the event. Going easy on her accessories choices, she rendered a simple yet stunning style. Yianni Tsapatori, the hairstylist, gave her the sleek hairdo and Subbu, the makeup artist painted her natural with fresh breathable palette.
For her performance, the diva picked a fringe patterned, multi-color jacket, a corset-inspired crop top and high-rise denim from Manish Malhotra.
Rakul Preet Singh:
Rakul Preet Singh, the mentor for divas from the southern zone, sashayed the Miss India 2018 contest in a white embellished plunging neckline gown by Crystal Design. Simple sparkling rings from Anmol, a wispy updo and dark-toned lips rounded her killer style.
Neha Dhupia:
Neha Dhupia, who was the mentor for the divas from the North zone, graced the event doing an all-black avatar. She picked a voluminous black Shantanu and Nikhil gown in black with plunging neckline and oozed sensuality in every click of the paparazzi. Gold-toned chunky jewelry from Roma Narsinghani, a dull metallic golden finish clutch by Bottega Veneta were her companions for the evening. A high tight updo, smokey eyes, and nude lip color rounded her beauty concept.
Malaika Arora:
Flaunting her well-toned, well-maintained body was Malaika Arora at the Femina Miss India 2018 contest. Although the diva was sitting on the judging panel, she seemed like a competitor herself. In a custom-made Manish Malhotra beige colored, corset-inspired satin outfit with the thigh-high slit, she spiked the hotness quotient up the radar. Makeup and hair credits go to Subbu and Yianni Trapattoni. Styled by Maneka Harisinghani, Malaika was truly a goddess of glamor.
