1. Sonam Kapoor has rightly been called the fashionista of the Indian bollywood circle, and for very good reasons too. Yes, she does have stylists to help her dress pretty, but without the right elegant attitude, the nine yard lace saree by Anamika Khanna, with a chic cut off shoulder blouse in frills and a lacey petticoat for company. 2. Keeping it minimal yet pretty

Minimalism in net sarees or lace sarees does make heads turn and a fashion statement too, which is what we see on B-Town celebrity Samantha. Samantha sports a lace white saree by Payal Singhal, with appliqué to the minimum embossed on it, with a black border. To add a nerdy oomph to the look, Samantha chose to wear a full-sleeved black blouse, chunky oxidised bangles and earrings for a statement to make and minimal makeup as well.

3. A Vibrant Touch For The Evenings

Lace can be a fabric that can blend into vibrancy for the evenings, with rich solid hues. Here we see how well that has been done in vibrant yellows, balanced with a handloom silk choli, and worn by Bollywood star Ameesha Patel at a social do. The look comes about as fresh and clean, graceful and playful at the same time. The neckline of the choli is an off-shoulder boat neck one, which goes well with the personality of the diva.

The pale gold border on the saree was an eye catching saree fashion statement to behold, with a strappy blouse in white and the saree itself styled in an elegant western cocktail style. 5. For The Bride To Wear

Here is a beautiful crème collectible piece by designer Monisha Jaysingh as seen in 2014 at a bridal fashion week. Beautifully draped as a cocktail mermaid gown, the saree gown in crème lace with large floral appliqués makes for a very sensual bridal piece to wear. The lace and appliqué combo as seen has further been enhanced with the embossment of karigari in grays on the pallu of the saree, which is neatly draped along side the box choli, and matching the sleeves of the blouse as well in the same design. The pallu has been draped around the bust line to flaunt the figure and not the traditional way of throwing it over one shoulder.
