Held in February and September each year, the New York Fashion Week is considered one of the four major fashion weeks in the world including the ones in Paris, London, and Milan. Spread across 7-9 days, it is a platform where international fashion compilations are exhibited to the general public, the press and the elite buyers. From fashion editors, bloggers, stylists, and paparazzi, the New York Fashion Week are always filled to the rim and catching a spot to capture a glimpse might be a challenge.
This Fall, the NYFW began from Thursday, September 6th and is scheduled to run till Friday, September 14th, 2018. And this year, it is taking place all over the city with the core presentations at the Spring Studios and some shows scattered at the Industria located all over the city.
What’s Exciting This Fall in the NYFW?
The Labor Day is an indication the United States of America that the summer has come to an end and it’s the last chance of enjoying the weekend. To the fashion world, the Labor Day indicates the beginning of countdown for the most laborious and exciting New York Fashion Week. With nearly 200 shows on the calendar, exciting and exhausting exhibits, and dinner parties scooping in between, the NYFW Spring 2019 so far seemed thoroughly entertaining and promising.
This season, NYFW won’t be seeing Adam Selman, Helmut Lang, Kendall + Kylie, Victoria Beckham, Alexander Wang and many more. And since these fashion weeks will load you with such round-the-clock shows that to find the time to snack is nearly a daunting task. But this NYFW Spring 2019, the designers were hosting lunches, breakfast and garden parties. Another highlight feature of NYFW is that there was and will be a lot of menswear collection for the audience’s perusal.
Lastly, this season we will see Riccardo Tisci’s first Burberry show, Hedi Slimane’s rethinking of Celine, Carly Cushnie’s Cushnie, Escada, and Nicola Glass, the new designer of Kate Spade presents for the first time ever in honor of Kate Spade.
Front Row Fashion of Bollywood Celebs At NYFW
Coming to what interests us more- the front row fashion, we were totally glued with the dashing appearances of our B-town beauties, Priyanka Chopra and Natasha Poonawalla.
Priyanka Chopra:
Priyanka Chopra who has nearly settled down in NYC attended the New York Fashion Week quite sincerely and with utmost fashion fuel. She was spotted doing the Kate Spade outfit in honor of the designer’s collection at the runway. With Platinum Born jewelry, sheer shades, an updo, and metallic sandals, she looked fancy.
PeeCee was also captured looking glamorous in a Ralph Lauren bodycon outfit, in support of the designer. The diva set out sparkly in his label, along with red glossy lips and an upbeat updo.
For the front row fashion of Longchamp at the NYFW Spring 2019, Priyanka dressed up smart and sexy in the designer’s label. Adding accessories too from the label, the diva was a fashion fiesta. Love the round rimmed shades, rusty orange lips and contrast orange pumps on the diva!
She looked smart and sexy at the daily front row’s fashion media awards in an LBD by Dion Lee. The ruffle clippings along the hemline absolutely turned the simple LBD into a fashionable outfit. Deep color lips, sparkling accessories, black sandals, and soft hairdo rounded her style.

Natasha was also spotted looking fab in a Gucci dress. The dramatic puffed sleeves, the plunging neckline were soaring fashion points of the style. The metallic accessories added shine and sparkle to the jewel-toned dress. Luscious lashes, a mid-parted updo and nude lips elevated her style game.
