After dogs, denims did be a human’s best friend!
You can literally live in it.
We are firm believers of the fact, that till the human race survives, a denim is never leaving our closet. The fabric only evolves with every fashion season.
Come fall, our divas are flaunting everything denim. From dresses to jackets to pants, the wardrobes of our tinsel town fashionistas is pretty much bleeding blue.
For slipping into a pair of denim, you don’t need any special styling skills. But when it’s about switching up this most basic wearable, you can consider taking some outside help.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
For her catch up scenes with designer Manish Malhotra and director/producer Karan Johar over dinner at the designer’s residence, the beautiful Aishwarya slipped into a short denim slip dress. Keeping it absolutely simple the woman wore the dress with a pair of brown heels and a pink pout.
Kareena Kapoor Khan
The Begum of Bollywood continues to establish trends. All set to fly for her Veer Di Wedding shoot, Kareena Kapoor Khan “denim-ised” her airport look. Giving a worthy appreciation to her all-black basics, the woman opted to layer up in a denim jacket from Balenciaga. We are sure of this basic look being replicated this winter. A pair of black shades and a Hermes black tote sealed her jet-setter look.
Cropped denim is the way to go this fall. As anticipated, pairs ending inches above the ankle are the go-to pieces this fall. With frayed denim still trending we loved how Athiya Shetty worked her TopShop denim and shirt look. Her pair of high waist, cropped and frayed denim in the classic light blue shade gave us all new goals. Stylist Ami Patel deserves special mention for styling up the leggy lass with cropped denim. Casual and all chic was this appearance.
Dungarees are the cutest outcomes of denim. Actress and model Diana Penty revived our love wearing a basic three-quarter dungaree at the airport. Adding all the cuteness to her jet-setting look, Diana chose to keep it simple pairing it with a white vest and a pair of juttis.
Cuteness overload was this denim skirt and tee look worn by actress Shilpa Shetty. The woman exuded much chill vibes pairing a denim pencil skirt with a white t-shirt. The classic white and blue done absolutely right. Don’t miss that little cat print peeking out of Shilpa’s pocket on the t-shirt.
While still in U.S, Priyanka showed some major denim love. On one occasion the leading lady from Bollywood was spotted wearing a denim dress. The dress boasted of a corset fit. Priyanka wore her three-quarter dress with a black full sleeve vest and a pair of ankle length boots.
While shooting in U.S, Priyanka gave us all new inspiration to wear the cropped denim. The diva wore her pair high with a black vest and a short black leather jacket. To rev up her look further, Pee Cee opted to wear black ankle length boots. A top knot and shades sealed the look to biker chic perfection.
Actress Tamannaah Bhatia made her way to the Lip Sing Battle, wearing super feathered denim from the House of Eda. Stylist Sanjana Batra styled up the dramatic pair with a white Miuniku top. Looking like an absolute rock and roll fan, Tamannaah carried her outfit with a pair of Forever 21 earrings and her tresses left open to fall naturally on both her shoulders.
Tabu made quite a comeback on our fashion radar while promoting Golmaal 4. For one of the promotional events, the lady was spotted wrapped in denim. Stylist Naheed dressed down her muse casual in a knee length denim dress. Beating Monday blues just right wearing Parisian Boudoir, Tabu lent out cool-girl vibes. The silver flats from Steve Madden complimented the white embroidery on her dress. The actress carried the look adding some extra sparkle with Isharya jewelry pieces.
Distressed denim is passe, distorted or extremely distressed denim is the new in. While on her trip to Goa, Sophie gave us major goals. With the gaps getting wider, we like how Sophie doubled er denim with a pair of black net stockings, adding some texture and good looks to her blue pair. Keeping the rest of her look chic, she wore the denim with a white slogan tee from H&M. A black tote and black peeps from Louboutin played perfect accompaniments to her chic outlook.
Denim skirts get back memories from our teenage days. Go back in time with them, but to be still relevant and trending in the present, opt for their frayed counterparts just like B-town bubbly, Parineeti Chopra’s TopShop skirt. Credits to Sanjana Batra for styling up the skirt with a white Madison On Peddar top. While the ruffled blue sleeves upped the drama quotient, the pale blue Only Two Feet peeps added some more prettiness to this pretty face.
For an event in Ahmedabad, Kriti Sanon wore a one of a kind cute denim dress from Purple Paisley, which looked like the dungaree was extended into a tutu skirt. Stylist Sukriti Grover had her wear this dress with a bralette.
Shraddha Kapoor coupled with stylist Shaleena Nathani bringing back fringed memories. Styled up in a light blue fringed skirt from Forever 21 and a printed blouse from Hemant and Nandita, Shraddha rocked the ongoing denim rage.
With denim on an all-time high, we suggest you binge on it right away.
