It was a long weekend, and while most of us snuck out of the hither and thither of the city, the cinema world celebrated the 65th Jio Filmfare Awards 2018 of the South. The event was a grand success and it lit up the night with dazzling sightings of the divas of South. It was a night of glory where the best of the southern film industries were honored with the iconic black lady.
Keeping Bollywood aside, which is glamour and talent-rich, the Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam film industries, as per our survey, are loaded with realistic theme-based concepts, intense acting, and a streak of glamour.
It is no big surprise that many divas from the north began their successful career with south films and we have to admit that South always has its doors open for celebs from different worlds to explore their options in the field of cinema.
Appreciating every actor who rendered an ear-splitting performance was the Jio Filmfare Awards 2018 South and the divas who made the event magical are as follows.
Celebs At The 65th Jio South Filmfare Awards 2018:
Rakul Preet Singh:
Blue and black is another classic color combo, don’t you agree? And doing it the right way in Alpana Neeraj gown was Rakul Preet Singh at the Jio Filmfare Awards 2018 South. Although we are not impressed by the pleats that added volume around the hip line, the diva carried it with great panache. Adding Aquamarine jewelry in a similar tone as the outfit, she rounded the style. Winged liner, glossy lips, and sleek and shiny hairdo earned her brownie points.
Kiara Advani:
Kiara Advani, who made her debut in Telugu film industry with Bharat Ane Nenu opposite Mahesh Babu, also graced the grand Jio Filmfare Awards 2018. In a boat-necked, plunging neckline and sequined black Manish Malhotra, she herself looked like a black lady. Keeping her accessories at bay, with deep red lips and shiny wavy hair, she was a true vision of beauty.
Catherine Tresa:
It was black with florals for Catherine Tresa for the Jio Filmfare Awards 2018 South. In a strapless, sweetheart neckline Neetu Rohra gown, she flaunted her slender mien. Love those lovely dangling earrings from Minerali. Her hair tied up with few strands falling along the contours of her face, nude makeup, and lip shade, she was gorgeous.
Lakshmi Manchu:
The lady who rules the talk shows, Lakshmi Manchu, went pastel for the Jio Filmfare Awards South 2018. In Ohaila Khan pastel blue lace outfit with beige lining, she rolled out a dashing style. To sparkle up the subtle style, she added dazzling baubles from Aquamarine Jewelry. Side-parted sleek hair, nude lip tone, and well-contoured flawless makeup rounded her stunning style.
Regina Cassandra:
Pretty and princess-like was Regina Cassandra at the Jio Filmfare Awards 2018 South. In an Alpana Neeraj peplum, flowing two-tiered fit and flare gown, she looked every bit celestial. Adding baubles from Dyamor Jewelry by Musaddilals, she rounded her style effortlessly. With side-swept hair, flaunting her toned shoulder line, she looked good.
Pragya Jaiswal:
Like a Disney princess, Pragya Jaiswal paraded at the Jio Filmfare 2018 Awards. In a blue shimmer, one-shouldered, one-sleeved gown by Laith Maalouf, Pragya looked fancy and Disney-like. With L’Dezen jewels by Payal Shah, she rounded her party style. Looks like nude palette is hot in the makeup world.
