Acne including pimples, breakouts and cystic bursts are signs of body inflammations and aren’t just skin deep. Now beauty bloggers have termed it as ‘bacne’, if appears on the back and ‘buttne’ if appeared on butts. Sans those fancy terms, they continue to remain a major challenge and concern for all the beauty conscious people out there, especially when there’s any event ahead.

Reasons for formation of body acne

  3. Alcohol consumption
  4. Irregular bowel movements
  5. Extreme stress
  6. Over secretion of sebum

Acne primarily occurs due to androgens that stimulate the sebaceous glands. The over secretion of sebum by the sebaceous glands gets build up on the top most layer of the skin, thereby leading to the formation of acne.

Acne bacteria also causes inflammation in the form of pimples, cysts, lesions etc. The skin surface, which has a greater concentration of sebaceous glands, is prone to acne. Thus, the most common spots for acne include face, back and chest.

How to get rid of body acne

Since inflammation causing acne is stimulated by the immune system, you need to take care of your gut first in order to prevent any inflammation and build up. While there is an array of body acne treatments out there, here are some natural ways to get rid of body acne fast.

Maintain a regular bowel movement and healthy gut

Dermatologists refer a leaky gut to be acne’s best buddy as where there is an inflammable gut, an acne pops up. Irregular bowel movements including constipation and motion sickness are among the major reasons for acne formation.

Besides irregular bowel movement, if you are suffering from headache, anxiety, bloating, gas, heartburn, nasal congestion and depression then you are prone to acne.
So you need to make sure you are taking proper dietary supplements and treatment to treat these ailments if there are any to get rid of body acne.

Follow healthy diet

If you want to obtain flawless skin then the first thing you need to do is follow healthy diet. Wrong food such as oily or anything that is gut irritant then you’re encouraging acne formation. So whenever you notice pimple or breakouts then check on your eating habit.

Whenever there is any inflammation, avoid eating the following foods –

  1. Grains that consist of gluten like wheat, rye, and barley
  2. Eggs
  3. Dairy products
  4. Tree nuts such as almonds, cashews, hazelnuts, pistachios, walnuts and Brazil nuts
