Saffron, the world’s most expensive spice, is used to add an exotic flavour to sweet and savoury dishes. It is also used in expensive skincare products as it contains numerous benefits. Saffron helps improve skin tone, is effective in getting rid of acne and acne scars, and can be used to give the skin a natural glow.
You can use saffron in your face pack to reap in its benefits. Make it a point to ensure that you’re using pure saffron and not some substandard adulterated stuff. Saffron is so expensive because it takes a lot of flowers to even obtain one gram of saffron, so if it is sold for an unbelievably low price, then chances are that it is adulterated stuff.
