We have been receiving several mails from my readers asking me to come up something for bridesmaid. While everyone is talking about the bride this wedding season, let me focus on the bride’s sister and her friends to help them flatter the Baraatis with their breathtaking wedding fashion statement.
Be it’s sangeet, mehndi or the shaadi, wedding is the best way to flaunt the innate fashionista in you. While the bride has all the rights to be the focal point on her D day, you should also look ravishing to complement the charm of the entire carousal. So that, when Baraatis enter the doorstep they would feel as if they have entered a fairy land. And how could we miss the elaborate photo sessions? Hence, you are ought to look drop dead gorgeous on your sister’s or friend’s wedding this time to drag everyone’s attention, while making other girls feel envy of you.
We have compiled top 10 fabulous designer Wedding Lehengas from Zarilane for the bridesmaid. While we did mention that these were for the bridesmaid, the designer lehengas shown below are for brides too. The designs are versatile, suiting almost every body type. Do have a look!
1. Gold and orange triple layer Lehenga
This is a very sweet and soothing color, suiting almost every skin tone. While the blouse and lehenga are of silk, the dupatta is net with matching embellishments. This three layered orange and gold lehenga is adorned with an elaborate embroidery in zari and sequin work, which reflects the finest craftsmanship of the brand and is the perfect number to wear it to Sangeet.
The outer layer of the lehenga is sheer fabric highlighting the deep orange hue from within. While the embellishment is mainly focused on the waistline to highlight your figure to-die-for; the hemline of the each layer along-with the blouse is also punctuated with the same detailing. You can either go for the same blouse design as shown in the image or anything that interests you since it’s a made-to-order piece.
2. Pink and orange lehenga
This flared lehenga is beautified with aesthetically placed embroidered motif in silver and crystal work. Since the waistline comes with heavy embellishment, the bottom half is kept clean to avoid overdoing it, whilst the flare adds volume to this gorgeous lehenga.
The net dupatta is also encrusted with matching detailing and not to mention the cutwork on the entire body of the blouse in raw silk. You can either go with the displayed back design or can opt for the traditional design to flaunt the embroidery work.
For every lehenga, I have included both front and back profiles for your better understanding of the item.
3. Pink flared lehenga
When it’s wedding or festive occasion, you should keep the androgynous fashion at bay, instead choose for feminine shades of red, pink and anything that makes you look graceful at the event. This flared silhouette is a designer piece with dupatta smartly stitched to the lehenga giving your outfit a modern edging. Just like your lehenga saree, this outfit is also a customized piece. So, you can either go with the stitching or ask for your preferences.
The design is somewhat similar to the previous lehenga accentuated in gold and silver crystal work. The blouse comes in a corset design fully adorned with the similar detailing. The dupatta and bottom lehenga are kept simple to keep the focus on the elegant waistline and blouse. And if you can see, the work continues the entire waistline to enhance the beauty of this ethnic wear.

4. Light peach lehenga
This is one of the most sophisticated and elegant lehengas. This ravishing light peach lehenga is dominated by an elaborate Zardozi work punctuated with silver and crystal patchwork in between. The gotta work is encrusted in as ascending order from the waistline towards the hem.
To enhance it more, the lehenga comes in two-layered with detailing on the sheer layer set against a deeper pitch shade to make the designs look more prominent and attractive. The blouse is adorned completely with the silver and crystal detailing while the net dupatta has embroidery work on the edging.
You are surely going to look like a diva in this delicate white pearl embellished regal lehenga.
5. Royal blue jacket lehenga
This particular shade can look great on women with fair complexion. As the name suggests this royal blue lehenga comes along-with a heavily embroidered full-sleeved jacket. The bodice of the jacket is flanked by exquisite zercon and sequin work paired with a delicate motif work on the neck and sleeves against a sheer fabric. You can wear it to wedding and be the spotlight throughout the night.
The bodice of the silk lehenga is kept simple with minimal doses of gotta work on the hemline to maintain the grace of this elegant ethnic outfit. The net dupatta is flanked by crystal sparkles all over with an embroidered borderline.
6. Light pink double layered lehenga
This is another beautiful piece that comes along-with a corset design blouse with net dupatta, perfect for Mehndi occasion.
The blouse design is for the fashionista, who does not want to completely soak up in traditional fashion. Hence the off-shouldered corset blouse can perfectly suit their taste, while maintaining the aesthetic value of the entire outfit.
The lehenga comes with heavy embroidery accentuated with delicate crystal work. The outer layer of the two-layered skirt is decorated with gotta lining while the inner layer comes with an embellished hemline. The waistline is flanked by matching detailing as that of the blouse to enhance its glamor.
7. Designer coral lehenga
This versatile outfit can also be worn as lehenga sari or half sari because of its fabulous design and splendid workmanship. The impeccable embroidered motif work is strategically placed on the waistline and center bottom of the bodice.
The design is flanked by semi-stitched pleats thereby giving making the lehenga look like a sari as well. The elaborate detailing on the waist highlights your svelte figure, while the stitched dupatta works like the sari pallu. The embroidered velvet patchwork continues on the edging along-with random placing of motifs all over the body. The dupion blouse is also decorated with the traditional zari work.
8. Multilayered gold lehenga
I just got reminded of Tarun Tahiliani’s gold-themed show at amfAR, Cannes Film Festival 2013. This fabulous golden lehenga comes in multiple layers with strategically placed embroidery in the same tone. The bottom hemline comes in darker shade to maintain the balance.
The net dupatta is attached to the metallic silk lehenga at the waistline to give the perfect draping. Perhaps the designer is hugely inspired by Tarun’s signature draping. Whatever be the reason, this lehenga at the end of the day is one of the best pieces offered by Zarilane.
9. Blue and green velvet lehenga
This is a double layered velvet lehenga in blue and green accentuated with silver and blue crystals.
The heavily embroidered lehenga with intricate golden cut beads is paired with a stylish corset design blouse with sheer elements on the front and back as well, while maintaining the ethnicity of the outfit. I really appreciate the designer for smartly placing the sheer fabric on the blouse to keep up the mystery for the on-lookers. Since the bodice comes with heavy work, the net dupatta is sprinkled with random crystals and small motifs, making the lehenga look extremely gorgeous for any occasion.
10. Sea green lehenga
If your zodiac sign is Cancer then sea green is your color. This beautiful lehenga comes along with golden antique work all over the bodice and corset design blouse as well. While the color is extremely soothing, the embellishment is in gold so as not to make this outfit look mundane.
You can either go with this fashionable blouse neck design to keep up the modern feel or get it stitched as per your preferences.
11. Coral triple layered lehenga
This is another masterpiece from Zarilane’s collection. While the blouse design is extremely elegant and very much ethnic, the lehenga is flanked by three beautiful layers rich in embellishments.
While the top layer is short and adorned with huge gotta work, the second and third flares have broad metallic border with beaded edging to make the entire outfit look royal and ravishing. The blouse comes in koti design with sheer elements on the arms to complement the net embellished dupatta.
Hope you enjoyed this post! Do let us know which design you liked the most!
